GREEK RECIPE: Black Eyed Pea Soup

Pick over and wash peas. Soak in cold water overnight. Drain beans. Bring to boil in 2 qts water. Reduce to simmer covered for 1 hr. Add all other ingrediants, mix thoroughly. Bring to boil again, reduce to simmer covered for 30 minutes more or until beans are tender. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
